TO IMPROVE BETTER MENTAL HEALTH IN CHILDREN

punishment can be quite effective when all we want is that the organism responds to a signal to avoid punishment.eg., people learn to come inside when they hear thunder, or to seek shade when it is hot and additional sun may cause uncomfortable sunburn. avoiding a threatened punishment can be rewarding. informative punishment can redirect behavior so that the new behavior can be rewarded.
